Moving Out…quickly!

As you know, this summer the Cevallos clan is peacing out of good ole’ SC, and moving to Bangkok. That’s in Thailand, in case you were wondering!  In light of that, we recently put our house up for rent, and God has provided some renters. We found out yesterday, these lovely renters, want to move in Monday. This Monday.

So, this Saturday we are having a huge yard sale with my friend Christy (who is moving to Africa at the end of the month).  We are giving a good bit of stuff away to some family members, and then selling the rest of it!! Trust me, I can not begin to tell you what a trip it is to literally be getting rid of almost everything, but let’s just say there may have been a few little mini breakdowns. What can I say, big E is just so sentimental about this move ;)!

God not only provided renters, but has also provided us with an awesome free place live through the generosity of a couple we didn’t even think we knew (but found out later we did know each other, many years ago!).  So, we will be living in downtown Cola, beginning Monday, trekking the girls back to Lexington for the last six weeks of school.

If you are interested in coming out to the yard sale, here is the link to the info!  Tons of stuff, and we want to get rid of it all!!

Until then, we will be sorting, and trashing tons of stuff, which calls for some good music.  While there are some new tunes I have been listening to lately, I am a little embarrassed about what has been playing on the regular lately around my way.  You see, it all started at the gym the other day, when I heard an old, but familiar tune by Katherine Mcphee. Before she was famous for her starring role in Smash, she was the runner up on American Idol (let us not talk about the utter ridiculosity it was that she did not win, and that Taylor-I-can’t-even-remember-his-last-name dude did!).  She did, however, actually make a record that I loved. Apparently, I was one of only a few who loved it. No number ones, nothing spectacular, just some catchy, pop tunes. My love for her stuff was reignited at the gym the other day, thus the constant replay!

So,  this week, we will be jamming to Ms. Mcphee’s tunes while getting ready to get rid of all our junk treasures…what are you up to?
