31 Days of Resources: Plan To Eat

I have talked about Plan to Eat before, but had to share it again, since it is one of my absolute favorite resources ever! It has revolutionized my meal planning and grocery shopping, and I LOVE it!

So, here is what you need to know:

Plan to Eat stores your recipes all in one spot. You enter them in, so you only have the meals you like. They even have an awesome button you can add to your toolbar, so when you come across a recipe you like, you don’t even need to open the program, you just click the button and a window pops up. You enter your recipe in, and it is forever stored in your PTE recipe book.

Once your recipes are added, meal planning for the week takes less than 5 minutes. You simply drag the meals you want to the days in the week. Seriously, that’s all. It might not even take you 5 minutes!

After you drag your meals to the right spot, Plan to Eat gives you your grocery list. It’s awesome. You don’t write anything down. You just click the list, and check off any items you already have. Then you can head to the store. This takes another 2 minutes!

Plan to Eat has a free mobile website. So, you can just use your phone to shop from. And, you can add things to your planner or recipe book from the mobile site too. The mobile site automatically syncs with your web version of Plan to Eat, so you don’t need to do anything else!

I recently wrote a post about how I got organized in terms of my meal planning, so check that out for some other tips!

And, I am excited to be able to giveaway some of the Plan to Eat love! The awesome people of Plan To Eat have agreed to give one lucky winner a full year’s subscription to the service;  a $39 value! So, enter below!

I love Plan to Eat and have been using them for the past couple years but didn’t think they had an app. They’ve always suggested saving their page on your home screen. Has that changed?

I am sorry, it isn’t actually an app, but a mobile site. It looks like an app on my homescreen, but it’s actually a mobile site! Sorry for the confusion!

Hey Christina, I am wrong in calling it an app…it is the mobile website! I am sorry for the confusion! But I do use it on my phone similarly to an app!
